Classics

In which I read at least three books in eleven different categories, with the exception of African American literature. I’m aiming to read instead one AA book and two books about different cultures.

Classics are where the timeless stories are–the ones that say everything about life and love. However, oftentimes the books at the front of the bookstore–the ones with the shiny new covers and huge marketing campaigns–distract us from the ancients. For a year, I would like to return to these books and indulge in the wisdom of years past.
